  • Tengchong, a paradise for outdoor sports. In fact, without innate superior conditions, no matter how much one tries to build it, it is useless. But Tengchong is indeed a good place for outdoor sports. It has hosted several international level off-road events, international mountain bike off-road events, and marathon events before. There are also many associations and organizations related to outdoor sports in Tengchong, as well as various outdoor groups, hiking groups, and cycling groups. Even if you haven't joined any association or group, as long as you have this hobby and enjoy getting close to nature, it's great to invite three or two friends to ride bikes, hike, or climb mountains.

     

    The scope of the Tengchong National Mountaineering and Fitness Trail Dongshan section almost covers a natural barrier in the east of Tengchong city, Dongshan. The entire Dongshan Mountain has lush and continuous forests, but on its rolling hills, there are alpine meadows, completely resembling a scene of a vast grassland. The highest point of Dongshan is approximately 2373 meters above sea level.

    Tengchong Dongshan is a beautiful hiking trail in Yunnan Province, which is rarely known by locals. The intensity and difficulty of this route are not high, with mountain trails that provide a good hiking experience; The millennium old ancient road is a secret realm, with different beautiful scenery at all times and ultra-high negative ion content. Let's wash our lungs together; Hiking from the high point of Dongshan Peak to overlook - one can appreciate the beauty of Tengchong from another perspective without entering the city.

    One of the main entrances to the Tengchong National Forest Mountaineering and Fitness Trail is the Tengchong Dongshan International Health and Wellness Resort. The total length of the trail passes through the resort and Dongshan Grassland Scenic Area is over 20 kilometers, with rich forest landscapes and beautiful alpine grassland landscapes along the way. It is the site for large-scale mountain climbing activities in Tengchong, and several hiking events are held here every year.

    The Gaoligong Forest Trail is 4000 meters long and takes about 90 minutes to walk. The road surface is paved with sawdust soft material, which is soft and loose, bringing a more comfortable physical feeling and infectiousness to the experiencer. The natural conditions of the trail are superior, and the forest vegetation is healthy. Coniferous forests are predominant, with dominant tree species such as yew, pine, and cork, making them suitable for forest rehabilitation activities. The supporting facilities include: bathroom, yoga platform, observation deck, forest yoga area, and meditation courtyard.
